These terms cover the website only

They govern your use of www.scalechapter.com. They are not the agreement under which we would do work for you – that is a separate contract, signed by both sides, and it takes precedence over everything here.

What is on the site

We write everything here in good faith and keep it current, but it is general information about how we work rather than advice about your situation. Performance figures describe results we have achieved for specific accounts under specific conditions; advertising results depend on your market, your product and your budget, and nothing here is a promise of a particular outcome.

Where a case study is anonymised, it is anonymised because we do not have permission to name the client – not because the numbers are illustrative. Where figures are illustrative, the page says so.

The free first month

Where we offer a first month at no charge, the offer is exactly what the page says: we do the work, you decide afterwards, and nothing is signed until you have seen it. It is offered at our discretion, one per company, and we may decline it – for instance where the account is outside what we can usefully help with.

Using the site

Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, and please do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people. Everything on the site – text, design, images and code – belongs to us or to our licensors. You are welcome to quote us with attribution; wholesale reproduction needs our permission.

Links out

Where we link to somebody else’s site, we do not control it and are not responsible for what is on it.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited – including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
